This year's awards recognize the achievements of women who have made a significant contribution to the advancement of technology and to the advancement of women in technology-related fields. This year's program also honors those who have helped increase the number of women on the Internet/online to more than half the Internet population, and emphasizes the community-based network of women who have helped each other in technology-related fields. About SF WoW San Francisco Women on the Web (SF WoW) is a San Francisco-based grassroots, non-profit organization with a stated mission of providing networking and professional development opportunities for Bay Area women in the Internet, hi-tech and new media industries.  |
